Alum Cove Natural Bridge - South of Jasper, AR
Water, Wind and gravity have transformed a huge mass of sandstone into a natural bridge.  It is 130 feet in length and 20 feet wide.  An extremely rare wildflower, French's Shooting Star flourishes beneath the sandstone ledges.

487 miles of natural shoreline, the 28,000-acre lake provides boating, swimming, water skiing and fishing. Several species of bass, along with crappie, bream, stripers and catfish are present.  Paved access roads wind through 12 developed parks, providing picnic sites, swimming beaches, hiking trails, boat-launching ramps, picnic shelters and amphitheaters.

Colorful and beautiful array of flowers and other greenary located on 86 acres adjoining Lake Fayetteville.  Includes a horticulture center, plaza, gardens and a green house.

Cosmic Cavern - Berryville (870)749-2298 Stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, soda straws, helictites, cave bacon, draperies, and many other speleothems.  Silent splendor room houses one of the longest soda straw formations in the Ozarks.  Two bottomless lakes and an underground bridge can be seen on the 1 hr, 15 min guided tour.  Also gemstone mining, fossil digs, and wild cave tours.

The world's only diamond-bearing site open to the public where you can prospect for and keep any gems you find.  A new aquatic playground just opened in 2004.  Campsites & picnic areas.

Arkansas Museum of Discovery - Little Rock (501)396-7050 The "Room to Grow" area at this children's museum in Little Rock is a new 3,000 ft space with activities, exhibits and games just for age 6 and under.  Guarded by Mimi, a not-so-ferocious dragon, it includes the Castle Theatre and the Reading Beach.
